After years of working with clients across all stages of life, Marylou Metzger saw the same pattern repeat itself — people cycling through workouts without building the strength, confidence, and resilience required to support their bodies through pregnancy, recovery, midlife transitions, and beyond. Project Strong was created to change that.
Rooted in a background in Kinesiology and shaped by thousands of hours on the training floor, our approach looks at the whole person. We assess movement quality, strength, mobility, posture, breathing, and lifestyle demands — then design training that evolves with you. Strength here isn’t about pushing harder; it’s about building capacity for life.
Project Strong specializes in women’s health across the lifespan, supporting clients from the childbearing years through perimenopause, menopause and beyond, while also working closely with individuals navigating injuries, recovery, and return-to-movement. Our coaching philosophy is grounded in empathy, education, and intentional progression — meeting each client where they are, and guiding them forward with purpose.
Today, Project Strong is more than a training studio. It’s a space where strength is redefined as a lifelong practice — one that supports confidence, independence, and quality of life for years to come.
